These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FARRIN (the "Service"), operated by FARRIN-DATING ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using FARRIN, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use FARRIN. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide, including your date of birth, is accurate and truthful.
We use the date of birth you provide to verify that you meet this age requirement, and our systems automatically reject any account that would make you younger than 18. If we discover or have reasonable belief that an account belongs to someone under 18 - whether through a report, our own review, or otherwise - we will immediately suspend or terminate that account and remove the associated profile information. Misrepresenting your age to create or maintain an account is a violation of these Terms and, depending on the circumstances, may be unlawful.
FARRIN does not offer its services to, and payments may not be made from or for the benefit of, individuals located in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk, or Luhansk regions, in accordance with the restrictions of our payment processor and applicable law. Accounts found to be operating from or serving these regions may be suspended or terminated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to create only one account per person and not to create a profile on behalf of someone else without their permission. Account registration includes phone number verification (OTP), a minimum of 3 profile photos, and at least 2 answered profile prompts, to help confirm you are a real person and support genuine connections.
FARRIN uses selfie-based identity verification to help build trust and reduce fake profiles. You may skip verification at signup, but you must complete it within 3 days of your account becoming active. If you don't, your profile becomes hidden from other members' Discover feed until verification is completed, and any active free trial ends early — your account moves to Discovery (our free tier) even if trial days remained. Verified accounts display a badge visible to other members. Verification helps build trust on the platform but does not guarantee the identity, intentions, or background of any member. See our Privacy Policy for details on how verification photos are used.
New members receive a free FARRIN-tier trial to start: the first 100 members to join receive 30 days of full access, and every member after that receives 7 days. When the trial ends, your account automatically moves to Discovery (our free tier) unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
FARRIN offers the following subscription tiers, priced monthly in USD. Available in supported countries, subject to applicable laws and payment processor availability.
Founding Member pricing: the first 1,000 people to create a FARRIN account are Founding Members. This status is tied to your account, not to when you happen to subscribe - so a Founding Member who subscribes to a paid plan at any point, even months later, locks in that plan's Founding Member rate for as long as they remain subscribed to that plan. Founding Member status is permanently limited to those first 1,000 accounts; it is not available to anyone who signs up afterward, regardless of when they choose to subscribe. Downgrading, cancelling, or lapsing on a subscription may end Founding Member pricing on that plan going forward.
Current features included in each tier are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Subscription tiers control access to features such as daily likes, starting conversations, Passport Search, Travel Mode, Video Dates, and profile visibility. Elite's video calling is uncapped for practical purposes, subject to a fair-use limit of 30 hours per month to prevent platform abuse; this limit is not expected to affect ordinary use. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each month unless cancelled. Payments are processed securely through PayPal.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect immediately, and your account moves to Discovery (our free tier) right away.
All subscription payments are non-refundable. This includes situations where you simply change your mind or decide to cancel shortly after subscribing - for example, cancelling two days into a billing period does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining time. We do not provide partial or prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
The one exception is a genuine billing error - for example, being accidentally charged twice for the same billing period, or a technical error on our end resulting in an incorrect charge. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact us at support@farrindating.com and we'll review it.
To keep FARRIN safe and welcoming, you agree not to:
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our discretion, with or without notice.
FARRIN's identity verification feature is intended to reduce fake profiles, but it does not constitute a background check and does not guarantee the safety, identity, or intentions of any member. You are responsible for exercising caution and good judgment when interacting with other members, including when meeting someone in person. We recommend meeting in public places and telling a friend or family member of your plans. FARRIN is not responsible for the conduct of any member, on or off the platform.
You retain ownership of the photos, messages, and other content you post on FARRIN. By posting content, you grant FARRIN a limited license to display, store, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post any content you upload.
FARRIN offers two ways to connect across regions, without changing your permanent listed location:
Members on the Island tier and above may record a voice introduction of up to 30 seconds to include on their profile, and may re-record or delete it at any time. Voice introductions are not automatically screened or moderated for content before becoming visible to other members; we rely on member reporting to identify and remove recordings that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines (Section 6). If you believe a voice introduction is inappropriate, please report it so we can review it.
FARRIN members receive 5 video dates per month; Elite members may use video calling without a numeric monthly limit, subject to the fair-use limit described in Section 4. Each video date is limited to 20 minutes per call. A video date request expires if not accepted within 60 seconds, and a credit is only used once a call successfully connects both members — a declined, unanswered, or expired request does not use a credit.
Members on the Discovery or Island tier may accept and participate in a video date initiated by a match on a qualifying tier, but may not initiate one themselves. Additional video date credits may become available for purchase from time to time; availability and pricing will be described at the time of purchase. Video date credit purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions, and once completed are non-refundable except in the case of a genuine billing error, as described in Section 5. Purchased credits do not expire and remain on your account until used.
Discovery (free tier) members may send up to 15 likes per day, and may reply to a conversation only after another member has started it — Discovery members cannot start a new conversation themselves. Island and above may send unlimited daily likes and start new conversations freely. These limits help keep FARRIN sustainable while remaining free to join and browse.
The FARRIN name, logo, and platform (including its design, features, and underlying technology) are the property of FARRIN-DATING and its technology partners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights over the platform or its components.
FARRIN is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any member's information is accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FARRIN is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages arising from your interactions with other members.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion, with notice where practical.
Deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription - you will not be charged again. If you later reactivate your account, your subscription is not automatically restored; you'll need to resubscribe if you want continued access to a paid tier. You may reactivate a deleted account by logging in again with your original email and password within 30 days of deletion; after 30 days, that email and phone number become available for a new registration instead.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active members of material changes by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of FARRIN after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
