Yes. You can create a profile, browse, and match on our free Discovery tier at no cost. New members also get a free FARRIN-tier trial to start — the first 100 members to join get 30 days of full access, and every member after that gets 7 days — so you can try premium features like unlimited likes and starting conversations before deciding on a paid plan.
FARRIN connects members across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. Due to payment processor restrictions, we're currently unable to offer service in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.
If you haven't subscribed to a paid plan, your account automatically moves to Discovery (our free tier) — you won't be charged, and you keep your profile, matches, and messages.

The first 1,000 people to create a FARRIN account are Founding Members. This status is tied to your account, not to when you happen to subscribe — so a Founding Member who subscribes to a paid plan at any point, even months later, locks in that plan's Founding Member rate for as long as they remain subscribed. Founding Member status is permanently limited to those first 1,000 accounts and isn't available to anyone who signs up afterward.
You can cancel anytime from Settings inside the app. Cancellation takes effect immediately and your account moves to Discovery right away — no partial-month charges.
Subscription payments are non-refundable, including if you cancel shortly after subscribing - you keep access until you cancel, but we don't refund unused time. The same applies to one-time purchases like video date credit packages, which don't expire but aren't refundable once bought. The one exception is a genuine billing error, like being accidentally charged twice - reach out to support@farrindating.com and we'll take a look.
We use a quick selfie check, comparing a live photo to your profile pictures to confirm you're a real person. It takes seconds, and verified profiles display a badge other members can see. Your verification selfie is never stored or shown to anyone.
You have 3 days from when your account becomes active to complete verification. If you don't, your account is hidden from other members' Discover feed and any active free trial ends early — your account moves to Discovery until you verify.

Passport Search lets you search and match with members in other countries without changing your listed home location. Island members can search up to 2 countries at once, FARRIN members up to 5.
Travel Mode temporarily shows your location as a destination you choose, so you appear in that area's Discover feed for up to 30 days. You can turn it off anytime. Every tier gets a monthly allotment: Discovery gets 3 trips a month, Island gets 7, FARRIN gets 9, and Elite is unlimited. Switching to a new destination uses one trip; re-confirming the same one you're already in doesn't.
FARRIN members get 5 video dates a month, each up to 20 minutes. A request expires if not accepted within 60 seconds, and declined or unanswered requests never use up a credit. FARRIN members who need more can purchase additional credit packages anytime, which never expire.
You can delete your account anytime from Settings inside the app — you'll be asked to confirm with your password since this can't be undone from within the app.
